Issue
When installing FaxNow! server, you will be asked to select the make and model of modem that you wish to use with FaxNow!

Solution
FaxNow uses it's own modem driver, as opposed to the Windows modem driver supplied with your modem.

If your modem is not on the list of supported modems, we would recommend using one of the "Unlisted Class" / "Standard Class" modem drivers.

There are five of these generic drivers included with FaxNow! and they are designed to support a wide range of modems.

If you are not sure which faxing class your modem supports, then we would recommend trying all five of the unlisted class drivers in turn, in order to find one that is compatible with your make and model of modem.
