Information: I cannot use the modem after running FaxNow!

Issue
When you attempt to use your modem after running FaxNow! (I.e. To connect to the Internet), a failure message may appear informing that your communications device is unavailable or busy. FaxNow! in some cases does not release the modem.

Solution
Note: Please ensure that you have Service release 2 of FaxNow! installed. To allow the modem to be shared between applications (I.e. between your internet connection and FaxNow!), follow these steps:

1. Access the Fax Modem Server from the system tray icon.
   
   
2. Select "Modem->Modem Properties"
   
   
3. Select the "Drivers" tab followed by the "Advanced" button.
   
   
4. Enable the option "Use Tapi".
