FaxNow! Server
Behind the scenes, FaxNow! Server handles all outbound and inbound faxes,
printing, routing and e-mail routing 24hours a day, 7 days a week. FaxNow!
Server fits into virtually any network operating system and can run under
Windows 95, 98 or Windows NT 4.0, Citrix Metaframe or Terminal Server.
It can even operate in background on a non dedicated PC or a Windows NT
v4 Server. Expandable from 1 - 1000 users and up to 32 fax lines, FaxNow!
5 Server can be incorporated into almost any type of network.
FaxNow! works with virtually any fax modem
FaxNow! supports virtually all popular Class 1,Class 2/2.0 modems, intelligent
fax boards and many multi function devices. So you can start to implement
FaxNow! quickly and cost effectively with almost any standard fax/data
modem, secure in the knowledge that as your requirements grow, FaxNow!
will grow with you.
Least Cost Routing
FaxNow! 5 Server incorporates Least Cost Routing (LCR). FaxNow! LCR is
NOT restrictive, this means that you are not limited to routing between
two FaxNow! servers as with some products. As most companies only have
one office, this is ideal, because FaxNow! can transmit faxes across almost
any telephone carrier. LCR also includes the ability to route fax via
the internet. FaxNow! handles connection to the internet and telephone
carriers automatically.

FaxNow! LCR provides the ability to send fax via third party carriers
or the internet based upon the cheapest route. You can define any number
of carriers that can be a mixture of Telephone or Internet carriers. Once
a carrier has been entered, any number of routes can be associated with
that carrier based upon dialing code and time of the day.

For example, you can define that any fax sent between 6pm and 8am, to
a fax number beginning with 001 will be sent via WorldCom, but you could
easily configure another carrier between 8am and 6pm.
Blacklisting
The scourge of Junk faxing has been around for many years, and until now,
there has not been much that anyone could do about it. FaxNow! incorporates
a "Blacklist" feature that allows you to define the faxes that you don't
want to receive. As soon as FaxNow! detects that a Blacklisted fax is
trying to call, it terminated the call immediately. FaxNow! can also prevent
you from sending unwanted faxes. Via the User Admin program, a recipients
number can be entered into a "Barred" list. FaxNow! will not dial any
number listed in the Barred list.
Configure Fax lines
FaxNow! 5 Server controls fax lines and routes incoming faxes. Fax lines
can be individually configured to send and/or receive faxes. This configuration
can also be configured to change automatically depending upon the time
of day. For example, a fax line can be individually configured to switch
from being a send/receive line to a receive only line at certain times
during the day or night.
Configure Hewlett Packard Digital Sender
FaxNow! 5 Server integrates with the HP Digital Sender (and HP Network
ScanJet 5).
FaxNow! v2.5 queues
FaxNow! 5 Server can handle faxes from FaxNow! v2.5. This means that FaxNow!
v2.5 users can migrate to FaxNow! 5 user by user.
