FFaxNow! E-mail integration
FaxNow! includes complete integration with all of the most popular email
systems including: Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Mail Lotus Notes Lotus
cc:Mail Novell GroupWise MAPI compliant email systems E-mail integration
is included at no extra charge with FaxNow!. By selecting the necessary
option during FaxNow! installation, your FaxNow! E-mail integration can
be configured in a matter of minutes:

With FaxNow! Mail Gateway installed, email users can send and receive
faxes just like email.
Sending faxes from email
Sending faxes from your email client is as easy as sending normal email.
Fax addresses can be entered directly into the To: field, or stored and
accessed from your email address book.

Faxes sent from a users email client are passed to FaxNow! Server via
the FaxNow! Mail Gateway. The FaxNow! Mail Gateway can run as part of
the FaxNow! Server or on a separate PC on the network. Faxes sent by email
users adhere to the same user defaults and therefore a users default coverpage
and setting apply unless a user specifies other options within the fax
address.
Automatically render attachments
FaxNow! will automatically convert attached files included within your
email into fax format. Any number of file attachments can be included
for example: Microsoft Word, Excel etc... This makes faxing from your
email client seamless because other email and fax addresses can be mixed
together in the same email.
Receiving faxes as email
FaxNow! handles incoming faxes in different ways depending on server properties.
At a basic level, all incoming faxes can be stored within the 'Unrouted
Fax' folder. Alternatively, faxes received on a particular fax line, or
with direct inbound dialing, can be routed directly to users across the
network by FaxNow!. FaxNow! Mail Gateway provides the same service but
through email. Users can decide how they want to receive faxes and system
administrators can decide who will receive unrouted incoming faxes. When
faxes are routed to users or groups by email, the format of the fax can
be changed to be Tiff, FaxNow! IFX or ViewNow! self viewing file format.

Incoming faxes can also be printed automatically on receipt or auto forwarded
to another FaxNow! user, fax or email address.
