FaxNow! Administration

FaxNow! includes administration modules that provide network administrators with all the tools they need to create and manage users, groups and security in addition to logging and analysis of incoming and outgoing faxes. FaxNow! Server properties, E-mail Gateway properties, Modem properties and Least Cost Routing properties are managed through the FaxNow! Server program.

FaxNow! User Admin manages FaxNow! users, groups and security.

Authorised FaxNow! users are displayed in the left hand list:

User profiles can be created of amended by selecting the appropriate button from the button bar or menu option:

FaxNow! user security
FaxNow! users can be restricted, individually or by group, from accessing certain parts of FaxNow!. This includes access to certain folders belonging to other users, or unrouted faxes. Security can be assigned at user or group level. This makes it easy to configure users with the necessary rights within any group they are a member of, it also enables groups to be managed by nominated users or department supervisors.

For example, members of a group may be restricted from faxing to specified fax addresses, or their faxes may need to be authorised by their group 'manager' before it can be transmitted:

Importing Users, PhoneBooks and Faxes
FaxNow! imports users, faxes and phonebooks from previous versions of FaxNow! and other fax software programs including WinFax PRO.
