RedRock Technologies Limited, (Milton Keynes, UK) today announced the release of their latest product, FaxNow! 2000. This all new software solution offers anyone with a PC running Windows, instant faxing capabilities from their desktop, either from within their chosen application or from a comprehensive yet easy to use Fax Manager programme, at under £50 including VAT!

Although faxing from a desktop is not new, RedRock Technologies have recognised the frustration many home users, often running a business from home, experience when attempting to send or receive a simple fax. FaxNow! 2000 has been designed specifically for the SoHo/single user market, and offers user’s a choice of how they wish their ‘fax’ to be sent. Once a fax is created on screen it can be sent as a traditional fax, via the internet, or even as an email. FaxNow! 2000 provides internet faxing on a modular basis, and in this first release supports the industry leading internet fax provider, Netcentric. Internet faxing allows you to submit your ‘fax’ in the traditional sense but when received by Netcentric it is forwarded, sent and billed as a local fax to the recipient’s destination.

ViewNow!, a unique new RedRock development that allows users to ‘wrap’ their fax in a self viewing file, is integrated within FaxNow! 2000. This enables users to send faxes as a self viewing file, without creating any additional dll’s or applications being resident on the recipients PC. The size of the ViewNow! utility is tiny, only 217kb, enabling ease of use and distribution, particularly welcome to anyone concerned about emailing large image files. ViewNow! is available via download from RedRock’s web site for anyone not yet using FaxNow!, but who wants to wrap their files effortlessly.
