RedRock Technologies launch FaxNow! Pro
Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, 12 January 2000 – RedRock Technologies,
providers of messaging soft ware solutions, has announced an agreement
with Eicon to offer its customers an inexpensive solution to Digital Faxing,
Internet access or both, simultaneously, with FaxNow! & NetNow! Pro. Included
in FaxNow! & NetNow! Pro is an Eicon Diva Pro card, which gives customers
the use of two lines, one for Internet connection or Fax and the other
for RAS.
Eicon Diva Pro, is a high performance, intelligent ISDN card that enables
both digital and analogue connectivity. This will provide corporate servers
with the ability to support high-speed Internet access, remote LAN connectivity,
faxing, or any digital/analogue application with a smaller user base.
FaxNow! is RedRock Technologies’ award winning fax software, enabling
messages to be transmitted across the Internet and to be sent directly
to email addresses as well as via the existing direct fax methods.
"We are delighted that RedRock Technologies has chosen the leading
Eicon DIVA range of ISDN cards as the standard platform for digital
faxing," said David Crumpton, VAR Manager at Eicon Technology.
"Both product sets integrate with each other seamlessly providing resellers
and end users with the perfect ISDN and fax bundle"
The Pro BRI solution offers simultaneous sending and receiving of faxes
and with scaleable Eicon Server Cards up to 16 Fax lines can be utilised,
which is typical for larger businesses. Making use of two server cards
the Pro BRI solution gives customers the ability access to the Internet
while sending and receiving faxes.
Rod Slater, Business Development Manager of Micro Peripherals, commented,
"By combining industry leading ISDN technology from Eicon with RedRock's
award winning FaxNow and NetNow products, RedRock has potentially saved
the reseller thousands of pounds. This is an opportunity not to be missed
by the SME reseller."
Secure faxes can also be received directly to individual’s desktops by
use of basic rate ISDN.
"I wanted to create a bundle opportunity to increase our level of
focus to the market, and our accredited resellers margin, FaxNow! Pro
offers this," said Dave Palowkar, Distribution Manager at RedRock
Technologies. "I am delighted that Eicon and RedRock have launched
the FaxNow! Pro bundle as it offers excellent value for money to all
small to medium businesses. We have seen our competitors being affected
already, as they cannot offer such a cost efficient solution with dedicated
digital fax cards, which typically retail at £1500."
RedRock are launching six different versions of the bundle to cater for
all levels of customer need. Retail prices start from £595.00
